Toy Drive and Playground Improvements for Ensenada Orphanage.

Over the weekend half a dozen EDDY Pump employees drove to Ensenada, Mexico. Their mission was to donate clothes and toys to the kids of the Casa Hogar Nuevo Amanecer Orphanage, along with doing improvements. Each kid will have a toy for Christmas from this toy drive.

Playground improvements were a hit with the kids. The EDDY Team installed new artificial grass for the playground.  The kids had a good time helping out and running around on their new grass. Afterward, they set up a computer system that was needed.

Future trips will also donate more shampoo, soap, toilet paper, general hygiene items, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, razors, socks and underwear for children 6 years and under, blankets, non-perishable food, and toys for holiday gifts.

The Alma Foundation sponsored this project with more trips in the future. Here is a link to the Alma Foundation PayPal donation link.  The orphanage has 40 children that are mostly girls. To see upcoming trips visit the Facebook link.
