Excavator Turns Into Dredger
This state of the art dredging system is unique to the market and improves the process for high solids pumping while using the hydraulic power of your existing excavator. The EDDY Pump Excavator Attachment easily pins into your existing bucket linkage and is powered off of the excavators’ auxiliary hydraulics.
Pump and equipment both are built and designed by EDDY Pump. This ensures the perfect fit along with support from the same company. We do not use 3rd party pumps like our competition does.
Excavator Dredge Pump Attachment
Ideal Uses: Hydraulic Barge Unloading, Mining Tailings Ponds, Slurry Ponds, Liner Safe Dredging, Heavy Construction, Dewatering, Railcar Offload, Long Reach Dredging and more.
Agitation Options: Cutterhead OR a high-pressure water jetting rings available depending on the dredging application.
Our patented pump technology outperforms all centrifugal, vortex and positive displacement pumps in a variety of the most difficult pumping applications.
We are one of the few companies who manufactures both our pumps and dredging equipment to ensure optimal support.
The pump and cutterhead suction dredge work in conjunction to make this the optimal dredging system for handling compact material, highly viscous materials and pumping high solids. This pumping system can easily pump slurries up to 4500-ft without the need for a booster pump.
For large rocks and distances over 2000-ft, an HPU (Hydraulic Power Unit) is recommended for max production. Call for details.
We Pump Solids, Not Water
All EDDY Pump suction dredges and excavator cutterheads are powered by our field-proven, USA Built, industrial slurry pumps.
The core of this design is the patented EDDY Pump technology. The design redefines the pumping industry by being the only pump that utilizes the principles of a tornado to create a synchronized eddy current. This pump is not a centrifugal, positive displacement or vortex pump, but instead the most efficient high solids and high specific gravity pump on the market. This translates to the ability to pump higher percent solids of material with less water.

Excavator Dredge Pump Attachment
Our mining and marine construction clients trust EDDY Pump. We perform best in harsh conditions because of our patented non-clogging design.
Cutterheads and Accessories for the Excavator Pump Attachment
Our standard cutterheads are great for breaking up compact material to feed the pump. They usually rotate between 15 to 60 rpm and are equipped with specially designed replaceable cutter teeth around the attachment.
As the attachment rotates, a self-cleaning comb device clears the mud or other debris from the head unit, allowing for far less blockage of sticky sludge and mud through the suction intake.
Break up material and inject water at high pressure to break up and liquify highly condensed solids. Works with standard or self-cleaning cutterhead.

Why EDDY Pumps Are Better.
Excavator Pump Attachment, Pumping Mud
The Best Non-Clog and High Solids Industrial Pump on the Market. Since 1984.
Best Applications: If you are pumping high solids, slurry, extremely viscous material, high abrasives (sand & gravel) and material filled with solids then you found the ideal pump for your job.
Industries Most Served: Mining, Oil and Fracking, Waste Water, Paper/Pulp, Chemical, Energy, Water Districts, Irrigation Districts and Dredging Companies.
Long Boom and Amphibious Excavator Options
EDDY Pump is working with several providers to offer swamp buggies and long reach dredge boom options that are pre-plumbed for use with our Excavator Dredge Pump Attachments.
Dredge Attachment and Long Boom Dredger Package
Long Boom Dredge systems to extend your reach. The benefits of this system are reduced setup time because the boom is pre-plumbed for the discharge hoses, saving custom modification time for the client. This is a plug and pump system to that attaches to your excavator and gets your project started sooner VS doing your own hose plumbing. Plus, the long boom greatly extends your production capacity.
Amphibious Excavator “Swamp Buggy” Conversion
Additionally, the excavator can become converted to an amphibious undercarriage for use in marshy areas. With a long reach boom this system is unmatched in productivity.
