EDDY Pump Pushes Global Expansion

EDDY Pump has been selected as one of 20 San Diego companies to receive $10,000 for global marketing expansion. Some companies fly to a trade show, but EDDY Pump is investing in expanded digital marketing with international focal points.

World Trade Center San Diego and MetroConnect will judge a phase two pitch for a $35,000 grand prize.

“Helping startups and businesses expand into foreign markets is one of the most effective ways to grow our economy and create jobs for all San Diegans,” said San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer, who addressed a crowd Wednesday at 600 B Street to announce the program’s launch. This money will be used to expand our marketing across borders. The goal is to expose our San Diego built heavy dredging equipment, process pumps and industrial pumps to new oil & gas, construction and environmental remediation companies. More EDDY Pump exports create jobs in San Diego, which is the goal of the EDDY Pump marketing team.
